Monday 9 am to 12 pm and 1:30 to 4 pm 
Tuesday 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm
Wednesday 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm
Thursday 9 am to 12 pm and 1:30 to 4 pm

Counseling services are available to:

  • Continuing CSM students
  • New and returning students who have completed the Online Orientation (through ) and Assessment.

Please note -- If you are a continuing or a returning student and your registration is blocked due to Dismissal status, you must follow the Reinstatement Process in order to register for classes: 

  • Attend an OnTRAC Reinstatement Workshop by Zoom (if you have not attended within the last 3 years) 
    • You will receive a Zoom invitation at your email.
  • Fill out Reinstatement Petition
  • Schedule a counseling appointment
  • Meet with a counselor to create Student Educational Plan (SEP) and submit your petition (phone or Zoom)
  • You will receive your reinstatement decision 1 to 2 days after your counseling meeting
  • Once reinstated, you will be able to register on your registration date through your WebSMART account

Have you taken college classes outside our District?

If you plan to complete a certificate, associate degree, and/or transfer, and have completed courses at a college or university outside the San Mateo County Community College District, you should utilize our  to have your previous transcripts evaluated. Do this during your first semester at CSM.
Submit official transcripts to Admissions and Records and request the official evaluation through WebSMART.
